BEST OF GUARDLINE: MARCH ROUNDUP

Along with the rest of the country, we’re dealing with the threat and impact of COVID-19.

Rest assured, we’re open for business and are taking every precaution we can to protect our employees and customers and to stop the spread of the virus. Our safety measures include wiping down all surfaces regularly, keeping a safe distance from other employees, and — of course — washing our hands any time we come and go from the office or warehouse.

While the rest of the country is on lockdown, we’re showing up because this is a time when people are thinking about security more than ever. The future is uncertain, and there’s nothing more important than your family and property. As you long as you need us, we’re going to be here.

Even in tough times, you guys make us smile. Here are some of our favorite customer comments from this month...

Best Customer Comments of the Month

“Several weeks after I installed the driveway alarm, it went off at 4:20 a.m. I thought it was probably a deer, but considering my family I decided to get up and check it out. I shined a spotlight down my driveway to see three masked men coming down my driveway. The big light scared them off. Who knows what would’ve happened if I didn’t have this alarm to warn me. I feel very thankful and loyal to you guys now. You make an excellent product and you should feel very proud about that.”
– Christopher M.

Wow, Christopher. We are certainly proud of anything that helps keep families safe inside their homes. We know masked men don’t like us, but we’re sure glad you do.

“A couple of years ago, I purchased a Guardline Driveway Alarm and it has worked perfectly. A few weeks ago, I decided to order another transmitter to add to my network. When the unit arrived, I found a 500-ft. sensor had been shipped instead of the ¼-mile I had ordered. I reached out to Guardline and to my surprise, the CEO reached out to me the next day to apologize for the mix up and said the correct unit had been shipped via priority mail. This is a great company that stands behind its products 100%.”
–  John A.

Thanks, John. Sometimes mistakes happen, but we always make it right. If you’re happy, we’re happy!

“Mine works fantastic! Yes, a deer or coyote will set them off. Besides people, I like knowing when a coyote is at the gate. Save your dogs from being torn up. I couldn’t be happier with the results!”
– Tra P.

We’re so glad your pups are safe, Tra. Coyotes should be chasing roadrunners, not stalking your pets.

Tough times can still be fun

Even in this difficult time, we’re still making time for fun and physical activity to keep our spirits up. One of the ways we’ve practiced social distancing is through turning an empty office into a gym. We can take quick breaks to stretch and get the heart rate up without having to be out in public. And this way, we don’t feel so guilty about all the snacks we eat while working…

In case you missed it…

Safety and security is on everyone’s mind right now. With people choosing online ordering over visiting stores for basic needs (including virus-killing wipes, food, and toilet paper) it’s important to be aware of the rise of package theft. If you missed our post about how to prevent package theft, check it out here.

We’ll always be here for you

The safety of you, your family, and your property is always our greatest priority. Now more than ever, we’re here for you. If you have any questions about how our products can best protect what matters most, please reach out to our American-based support any time.

Until next time, be safe…

I ordered two of the 1/4 mile sensors along with the receiving unit. I installed them on my long driveway about 100 feet apart. Each one has a different tone. Occasionally, a deer will set one off and I know it’s an animal as only one goes off. But when a vehicle comes down the driveway I will know as each device goes off with different tones about 5 seconds apart. So far, they are working great.
