Features

  • Additional sensor compatible with the Guardline 1/4 Mile Motion Alert. This sensor is not compatible with the 500 ft. Guardline Motion Alert
  • Add up to 4 sensors per zone (for a total of 16).
  • Sensor has a 40 ft detection range.
  • Weather-resistant and ready to withstand the elements
** As with all wireless products the maximum range is determined by the amount of interference between the sensor and receiver. Any obstruction in direct line of sight range will reduce the effectiveness of the signal between the individual units. For maximum distance reduce as much interference as possible.

Great product!

The Guardline arrived in a timely fashion. It was really easy to set up and get working. It is very effective at alerting of cars and people approaching the home. I am very pleased with this alert system and would definitely recommend your company and product to family and friends. Great product!

Guardline transmitter and receiver.

I received only the transmitter - no receiver so I cannot do anything with it

Great customer service

The first one worked well for about 2 weeks and then started intermittently working. I called customer service and they shipped one out the same day. It’s been out for a few weeks and working well!! Love it

The product and customer service is excellent, but...

The item is excellent, and the customer service is excellent; but the request for review is deceptive, in that on two of the requests won't allow me to export my review from the questionnaire provided, and I had to go online for publishing. It feels it was intentional, and a deceptive practice.

Not satisfied

This system was easy to set up but it just does not always work. I have reset everything and re-positioned the sensors several times. the receivers do not work through out my house. I just don't know if the sensors are too far but I have one that is just 100 feet out.

Q: Looking at the 1/4 mile unit for my in-laws. They live in W NC. The driveway is up a gentle 15-20 degree slope with many trees on both sides of the road. How will the unit work with multiple sensors? Biggest concern would be the one at the bottom of the driveway as there are two 90 degree turns prior to getting to the main county road.

A: Hi Mark, if your distance between sensor and receiver is under 1/4 mile, then this unit would be great for this because it has a stronger signal that allows it to fight through interference such as the hill and trees. Just remember, as you introduce more interference, your effective range will diminish little by little. Take care!
Q: In regards to the sensor: If it uses batteries to operate, how long do the batteries last? Is there an indicator light on the sensor to show how much power is left? Thanks
Answers (1)
A: The sensor batteries last about a year. If you live somewhere that gets really cold winters I recommend getting lithium batteries to ensure your sensor works year round. There's an LED on the receiver inside that will flash to alert you to low sensor batteries.
Q: Some of the pictures, of the sensor, have a shield on the top and some don't. Does the sensor unit come with this protective shield?
Answers (1)
A: The sensor comes with the sun shield bot both the 500 ft, and the 1/4 mile version.
Q: Can the sensor be mounted on a metal pole/pipe without any interference?
Answers (1)
A: We recommend not mounting on metal surfaces because they cause a great deal of interference with the sensor's signal. You can try it in the location. but if it does not work, the metal interference is most likely why.
Q: Will the wireless waves from the camera to the monitor be blocked by trees and hills?
Answers (1)
A: They will not be entirely blocked, but solid objects do degrade the signal strength. Basically, the system has a maximum range, and solid objects will make that range smaller. Certain items such as metal and stucco cause much more trouble that wood or drywall.
