just the oposite of the first review

We have had this device about 2 years and our only problem was the sensor was so sensitive that it picked up trucks, cars, paper flying by, a bird in the tree, joggers on the path behind our building. When someone finally read the instructions and did what was written to make the device work, we have a great little system and we use the pagers. The only issue is when the battery runs down and the truckers all line up waiting for us because they know the device we use and they don't have to walk around to ring the bell.

Having problems

We set the sensor up to alert us when a semi truck is at our back dock. It rarely picks the trucks up at all unless we are flailing our arms right in front of it it will not alert

Q: I am looking for a doorbell that has a long-range sensor. How sensitive is your sensor? I wonder, will it work through walls?. I work in a building that has marble walls, and thick wood doors and I need a doorbell with long-range sensor that I can push doorbell and it will ring down the hall (straight shot) and through a wooden door (contains glass window). Could this sensor also work if the button was downstairs? What is your return policy if we purchase and find it doesn't fit our needs? Thank you! Shawna G. Deputy Clerk, Wyoming Supreme Court

A: Hi Shawna, I'll be honest, I haven't tested this unit through marble walls, but this is a great option for you because it has a really strong signal. Not knowing the distances between where your doorbell and receiver will be, I can't confirm it will work for you, but we have a no-hassle 30-day return period, so feel free to try it out and confirm that it works in your location.
