Wow!! This exceeded our expectations! Our driveway is 1/4 mile long. We placed the "eye" (sensor) about 1/3 of the way from the road towards our home. It works GREAT! In fact, last night, at 10 PM, it went off. My husband took a beam flashlight outside and found 3 deer in a field, directly in front of the sensor, but 30-50 ft away. I hope that doesn't happen in the middle of the night, but if it does, it's worth it to have the extra secure feeling it brings, knowing it's that sensitive.

How does it work?

The GL2000 model has a 500 ft (150 m) range and the GL5000 model has a 1/4-mile (400 m) range. The system runs on a radio frequency, and uses PIR technology to detect unwanted visitors. When triggered, the sensor will send a signal to the receiver which will play a melody.


 Both models are great for multiple applications, including:

• Alerting you when visitors enter your driveway

• Deterring trespassers and thieves from entering your property or building

• Alerting you to wildlife on your land

• Using in drive-thrus to signal that a customer has pulled in, and more!

Can I extend the system?

You can add up to 16 sensors to one receiver, and incorporate as many receivers into your system as you like.

Is there a way to have it only work at night?

Yes, it is possible. Inside your sensor, the top right switch can be pushed to the right to engage Night Mode. Once engaged, your sensor will only work during dark and low-light conditions.

When the sensor detects motion does it light up or make any noise?

When the sensor detects motion, the "eye" of the sensor glows red for a few seconds. This serves as a confirmation tool that the sensor is seeing motion.

Do I get any warranty?

YES! Guardline Security offers a limited warranty for all Guardline branded products. Our warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.

Buyers must register their purchase here ( in order to validate the warranty.

Warranty is valid only for purchases of new product made through an authorized retail establishment. The original purchaser must register their purchase in order to validate the warranty. We require registration in order to ensure that our product has not been purchased through unauthorized or gray market outlets. The warranty is voided if the product is re-sold or purchased as used/refurbished.

What is the return and exchange policy?
