Driveway alarm

I love this driveway alarm. I have had a few false alarms, and I don't know what caused them. It only happens, once or twice a week. This is my second driveway alarm of this type.

Q: Can big trucks drive over hose {80000pounds]
Answers (1)
A: Yes, big trucks can drive over the hose, but you will likely need to replace your hose sooner due to the increased wear and tear.
Q: What kind of tone is it? Soft tone, buzzer, or bell?
Answers (1)
A: There are four tones that the Dakota 2500 receiver plays: Classical, Westminster, Whistle, Ding Dong. They are pretty basic ringtones, and can be controlled with a volume wheel located on your receiver.
Q: Can the hose be buried under gravel so that with driveway maintenance it doesn't get ruined, such as plowing and grading a gravel driveway.
Answers (1)
A: If you bury the hose under gravel, you risk inconsistencies with the alarm. It can be buried, but may not function as well as if ti were not buried.
Q: Can I just buy the outside peice and hose?
Answers (1)
A: Yes, you can find that in the "Add-on Sensors" section in the Shop menu under Wireless Driveway Alarms
