I am looking at the DK4000 package. Does it matter how many breaker boxes I have in my house? In the past I tried using plug in intercoms and they would not work. Found out that if the house has more than one breaker box they would not work. Will the DK4000 work regardless the number of breaker boxes?
With this unit, it does not matter how many breaker boxes you have in your house. This may have been an issue with previous systems as those systems use the existing wiring in the house to transmit the signal to / from one another.
Do you have to purchase a base station to use these?
Hi Mary, you do not have to purchase a base station to use these. You can use any mix of base stations or handheld radios for long range communication.
Shows to be a pack of 4for $316. Why is it charging for 4. $632.00
We sell that unit by itself, in a pair of two, and in a pack of 4. You are looking at the 4-pack, which is $316. The item number for the two pack is DK1005, which is $158.
